"My work uses color to evoke emotional response, while geometric design organizes those emotions into structured forms, reflecting society’s tendency to seek order in emotional expression. The use of a hard-edge painting style mirrors the rigidity of these societal expectations. The resulting artwork is a capture of feelings too big to be acceptable, packaged as organized linear patterns. I hope that those moved by my art will feel the emotional force behind the work and allow it to be a conduit to reconnect with their own expression of emotion."
